On Tuesday, June 4 we departed early in the morning (5:00 a.m.) for the Serengeti National Park. We had two cars with drivers, so we divided into two groups.

We left early so that we could arrive in time for the sunrise in the park…just when the animals are waking and moving about!

We had hardly begun when we saw a pride of lions beside a small body of water.

Then, we began to see many different animals for which the Serengeti is famous.
It was an incredible day…and we came “home” to a warm welcome from the children who were waiting for the students to come and play with them!

We too are called to be apostles and spread the Good News. We each do this in our own way, through our words but more importantly through our actions.
