On Tuesday, June 4 we departed early in the morning (5:00 a.m.) for the Serengeti National Park. We had two cars with drivers, so we divided into two groups.
We left early so that we could arrive in time for the sunrise in the park…just when the animals are waking and moving about!
We had hardly begun when we saw a pride of lions beside a small body of water.
Then, we began to see many different animals for which the Serengeti is famous.
It was an incredible day…and we came “home” to a warm welcome from the children who were waiting for the students to come and play with them!
