Religious Vows in Tanzania
- Feast of the Assumption of Mary
The Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is the customary day of religious vows for the Resurrectionists in Tanzania. Father Evandro Miranda Rosa, Superior General, received the vows from the Tanzanian brothers on August 15, 2024. Five brothers professed for the first time, six renewed their vows for another year, and one Resurrectionist, Emmanuel, who is in formation for the priesthood, made his perpetual profession. A day earlier, 10 candidates were admitted to the novitiate in Buhemba.

Visit the Resurrectionist International Website to read some of the vocation stories of these new Resurrectionists and see more photos!
Please keep our new Resurrectionists in prayer, and let us all pray the God continues to send workers into his vineyard through an increase in vocations.
