Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows

September 15th is the Feast Day of Our Lady of Sorrows. 
It is a Community Feast Day for the Congregation of the Resurrection and the Parish Feast Day for St. Mary’s Parish in Kitchener.  

The Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Mother are:

  1. The Prophecy of Simeon
  2. The Flight into Egypt
  3. Jesus is Lost in the Temple
  4. Mary & Jesus Meet on the Way to Calvary
  5. Mary Sees Jesus Die on the Cross
  6. Mary Receives the Dead Body of Jesus in Her Arms
  7. Mary Accompanies Jesus to the Tomb
