On Sunday, December 28 (Feast of the Holy Family), the 11 young men who have been with us as aspirants participated in a liturgical ceremony that celebrated their transition to postulancy. This step is a preparation for novitiate, which is the initiation into religious life.
We asked Fr. Eric Wagner, C.R.—a Resurrectionist from the U.S.A. Province—to preside over this ceremony with Br. Mosses, the director of the aspirants.
These crosses will be given to each of the new postulants as a sign of this big step.
Brother Mosses called each of the aspirants to come forward. He asked each of them if they would continue to discern God’s will, grow in knowledge of the Resurrection charism and mission, and commit themselves to learning more about the vowed life and the common life.
Fr. Eric blessed the crosses, and Br. Mosses presented the blessed crosses to each of the new postulants.
