Celebration of Farewell at St. Joseph Parish

On Thursday October 6, parishioners of St. Joseph Parish in Hamilton gathered in gratitude for the Congregation of the Resurrection’s 89 years of ministry at St. Joseph Parish, and for the most recent ministry of Fr. Jim Link, CR.  

Bishop Douglas Crosby, OMI presided at Mass, joined by Fr. Tim Uniac, CR, Provincial Superior of the Ontario-Kentucky Province of the Congregation of the Resurrection, Fr. Jim Link CR, and fellow Resurrectionists.  A commemorative plaque was also blessed. 

We are grateful for the 89 years we have been blessed to serve the parishioners of St. Joseph, and we pray that the spirit of the Resurrection may continue to flourish in the faith community.  Msgr. Murray Kroetsch is now the pastor caring for the people of St. Joseph, and we wish him many blessings in his ministry there.
