Funeral of Fr. Jim Valk, CR

On Friday July 21st, we celebrated the Mass of Christian Burial to bid farewell to our brother Resurrectionist, Fr. Jim Valk, CR at the age of 85, in his 65th year of religious life and 59th year of ordained priesthood. Fr. Tim Uniac, CR preached at the funeral and reminded us that although Fr. Jim’s stories may not always have been factual, his parables told the Truth and always called those listening to joy in their faith. May Fr. Jim now experience the eternal joy of the Resurrection.
