We are now mid retreat week for the Canadian Province of the Congregation of the Resurrection.
Fr. Steve Thoma, CR, our retreat director, has been leading us through a series of sessions in which we place ourselves in the Resurrection story. Asking ourselves questions like: “What were the different people at the crucifixion thinking?” and “How does our present day Resurrection faith shape our own experience of the crucifixion?”.
We also pray the liturgy of the hours and celebrate Mass together each day. And of course there is time for fellowship and excellent food!
