National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Kitchener marked this year’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with a sharing by Marion Thomson Howell – a longtime parishioner of St. Francis parish and friend of the CRs. Marion shared both her journey of learning about our country and our Church’s involvement in the perpetration of injustices against the Indigenous Peoples of Canada, and also reasons for her hope.
We continue to pray for reconciliation between the Church and the Indigenous Peoples of Canada, and we thank God for little signs of hope, and of the Resurrection of Society.
