On November 1, 2025, Most Reverend Douglas Crosby, OMI, announced to the people of the Diocese of Hamilton that Pope Leo XIV has appointed a new Bishop of Hamilton, Most Reverend Joseph Dabrowski, CSMA. Bishop Dabrowski previously served as Auxiliary Bishop of the London Diocese, and is currently the Bishop of Charlottetown, PEI.
The Congregation of the Resurrection would like to thank Bishop Crosby for his wisdom and guidance for the Diocese of Hamilton, and for his support for the Resurrectionists over the years. We have been grateful for the ministry Bishop Crosby has encouraged our Religious Community to do in the Diocese of Hamilton, and we pray he has a restful and fulfilling retirement.
The Congregation is also very pleased to wish Bishop Dabrowski a very warm welcome to the Diocese of Hamilton, and we look forward to continuing to serve the people of this diocese with him.
