I ended the last blog with: “After the solemn Christmas blessing, we were off to two more outstations. With the baptism, we were late, and now we were in a real hurry!” Well, that was my first mistake of the day.

4th Sunday in Ordinary Time – January 28, 2024
In our Baptism we were anointed priest, prophet and king. Jesus calls us this Sunday to share in his prophetic ministry, in a prophetic Church, which announces and denounces, to bring all to conversion, and to the kingdom of God, celebrating God’s truth and unconditional love.
Do you confess your faith out of love or out of fear?
It is possible to possess extensive knowledge, yet only through love can our faith touch others’ hearts. You may feel inadequate, unqualified, or even “unclean” to answer God’s call. Remember, it’s not about knowing but about loving; love is the key.

On Christmas Day we started by travelling to Tarani Outstation for Mass. There we baptized a two week old baby!
3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time – January 21, 2024
This is the experience of each Christian who comes to know the transforming power of God’s love in the face of his or her own unworthiness. Despite our shortcomings, God is always faithful in love for us.
