Who are you living for?

The truth is, all of us – no matter what our vocation is – are called to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind.  Priests and consecrated persons don’t necessarily do this better than anyone else. 

29th Sunday in Ordinary Time – October 22, 2023

Chapter 22 in Matthew’s gospel highlights the increasing tension between Jesus and the religious authorities of his time. Each group, in turn, raises a question which they hope will “trap” Jesus.

Whose are you?

We belong to the one whose image we bear. Sometimes we can fall into thinking that my vocation, what God is perhaps calling me to, is something other than who I am.

Synod on Synodality

On October 4, 2023 the Synod on Synodality began in Rome.  Those participating had already been in Rome for a week, attending a retreat in preparation for the Synod.

New Vehicles for Tanzanian Mission

This summer the Canadian Province of the Congregation of the Resurrection agreed to finance the purchase of two new vehicles for the Mission in Tanzania.
