The Resurrection Sisters have a place in Buturu, which is near the Butiama parish. They invited all of us for a Christmas celebration the day after Christmas.
6th Sunday in Ordinary Time – February 11, 2024

Jesus showed his true humility through His comment to the cured leper, “See that you tell no one anything”. How typical is it for us, when we have accomplished something, to ask not to be recognized?
Is your longing stronger than fear?

The man from today’s Gospel was conscious of the risk of rejection he faced. Fully aware that his actions were crossing established lines, the man afflicted with leprosy chose to confront this risk.

The final outstation was at Kyamuko. It is a small community and there were no baptisms scheduled.

I ended the last blog with: “After the solemn Christmas blessing, we were off to two more outstations. With the baptism, we were late, and now we were in a real hurry!” Well, that was my first mistake of the day.
