FOCAL POINT:
“During Lent, it is important to teach the social consequences of sin as well as the fact that the heart of the virtue of penance is hatred of sin as an offense against God.” (Canadian Ordo)
- For all benefactors of the Congregation of the Resurrection, may they be rewarded for their generosity.
- For parents and families of all Resurrectionists, may the Risen Lord sustain them in their faith.
- For all who have died, may they receive the reward of ever-lasting life.
FURTHER REFLECTION:
“All forms of prayer are born from listening to the word; praise and thanksgiving for God’s wonders and mercy; entreaty for forgiveness of the sin that God unveils and denounces in order to bring us back to him; intercession for God’s grace and aid so that he will provide for the needs of his children, especially the poor, the powerless, the outcast, those who suffer injustice and find in God their only defender.” (Days of the Lord, page 5)
