Provincial Chapter 2025

A Chapter is held every three years in our Congregation, and is a chance to evaluate the current status of the religious community, and make plans for the future.   This Chapter will focus on renewing our commitment to the Resurrectionist Charism and Mission; ensuring that our ministry and initiatives always work for the Resurrection of society. 

For over a year our Planning Committee has been preparing for Chapter. Every Committee and Religious House in the Canadian Province also prepared a report, detailing how their activities over the past three years have supported the Charism and Mission, and their hopes for the next three years. At Chapter we will review these reports and engage in Spiritual Conversations about “the State of the Province”, “the Resurrection Vocation” and our “Future Directions”. Both the Retreat and Chapter weeks will be times of spiritual renewal and a chance to refocus on our unique Resurrectionist Charism and Mission.

2025 is the Jubilee Year of Hope, as declared by Pope Francis, and so our theme for the 2025 Chapter is Pilgrims of Hope.  Our Provincial Chapter Prayer has been adapted from the prayer used by our international Resurrectionist Congregation at the General Chapter in 2023.  We would ask everyone connected with our Congregation in any way to please pray this prayer to support our Province as we gather for Retreat and Chapter.
