Today the Congregation of the Resurrection, Canadian Province, begins their annual week of retreat, both avowed Resurrectionists and lay Apostles of the Resurrection. This year’s retreat is also in preparation for next week’s Provincial Chapter, and so the focus of the retreat is:

The Resurrection Dream: Charism & Mission Today

Fr. Eric Wagner, CR

Our Retreat and Chapter Facilitator is Fr. Eric Wagner, CR, a member of the American Resurrectionist Province, and an insightful biblical scholar, teaching at the Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis, MO.

Fr. Eric has been involved in planning our Chapter week for over a year, and has designed this week of retreat to prepare us spiritually for the intense self-reflection and evaluation which comes with Chapter. This retreat will remind us what it is that makes us uniquely Resurrectionists, by exploring deeply our Charism and Mission.

God’s Love is Mercy Unmerited

Resurrectionist Charism:

“We believe that God’s love of us is merciful and unfailing.  We have not earned his love.  We are nothing, have nothing, and can do nothing without God.  We are attracted to evil.  We are sinners. Yet, God continues to draw us to himself.”
Please pray for us,
that we may feel God’s unconditional love in a powerful and inspiring way today.
