Sacred Heart of Jesus
Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is also the Feast Day for Sacred Heart Parish in Kitchener. “This holy day is of special importance because our church and all its families are dedicated to the Heart of Jesus.” (Sacred Heart Parish bulletin) In recognition of this special day, Sacred Heart Parish invites you to join them for:
- Mass in English at 8:00 am
- Sacred Heart Devotions at 6:15 pm
- Mass in Polish at 7:00 pm followed by the Litany to the Sacred Heart
- During 7:00 pm Mass a relic of St. Margaret Alacoque will be present.
- You can also receive a plenary indulgence by: being in a state of grace, participating in Mass and receiving Holy Communion, and praying for the Intentions of the Holy Father.

What can we do for the Heart of Jesus, how to respond to His love? “Looking at the Heart of Jesus, the human heart learns to know the true and only meaning of one's own life, learns to guard against imperfections, to combine filial love for God with love for one's neighbor. This is how - and this is the true reparation that the Heart of the Savior expects - on the ruins of hatred and violence, the civilization of the Heart of Christ will be able to arise."
