On Sundays, Fr. Daniel usually has one or two Masses at the local parish in Tungi and Fr. Yohana usually has Mass at one of the parish outstations. I have Mass with the seminarians and the aspirants. Sometimes we are joined by the Blessed Sacrament Sisters, who are neighbors to us. We also have a few local people who worship with us.
We have choir practice twice a week: Wednesday evening after dinner and Saturday morning before Mass. We have quite a few talented musicians and singers. Here, Fulgence is directing the seminarians, and Karoli is playing the keyboard.
The Sunday Eucharist provides an opportunity for the seminarians to exercise their ministries and to have active participation in serving. In the procession, we have two servers (Robert and Paschal), one Lector (Petro), and one Acolyte (Vitalis).
During the weekdays, we alternate Mass in English and Swahili…one week for one and then one week for the other. Morning Prayer is always in English during the weekdays. Evening Prayer is in the language that Mass is in during that particular week. We pray in Swahili at all liturgies on the weekend.
Here, Vitalis is serving in his church ministry as Acolyte, assisting in the Preparation of the Gifts.

Will You Trust God’s Voice Like Noah Did?
Noah entered the ark because he trusted God. Others ignored God’s voice. At the beginning of Advent, the Church invites the same trust.
