No that Christmas is past, let us continue recollecting Fr. Raphael’s visit to Tanzania.
One great thing that Fr. Raphael did was to spend time with the seminarians. That, actually, is the main purpose of us inviting Resurrectionists from Europe, the United States, and Canada to be with us. I want the seminarians to meet and establish relationships with many Resurrectionists.
One Sunday, some seminarians took Fr. Raphael on a hike to a beautiful mountain side with waterfalls.
Fr. Raphael also spent time with Fr. Yohana who introduced him to Sr. Fatima, who is the administrator of the Blessed Sacrament School, where he ministers as a chaplain, teacher and administrator.
Fr. Yohana also took Fr. Raphael to the outstation where he ministers on Sundays.
A special event was that Br. Mosses and the aspirants took Fr. Raphael to the Mikumi National Parks that is about a 2-hour drive from us.
There is an older gentleman who prays with us in the mornings. I met him when I first came to Tanzania in 2019. And, yes…his name is Raphael!
