THE WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY begins on Thursday, January 18th
and concludes on January 25th, the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul.
We invite you during this week to attend one of the ecumenical prayer services or events happening in our region.
The Forest Hill Ecumenical Churches will be hosting a celebration on Sun. January 21 at 3:00pm at Calvin Presbyterian Church.
This event will include participation from St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Forest Hill United Church,
Highland Baptist Church, St. George’s Anglican Church, and St. Steven’s Lutheran Church as well as our hosts Calvin Presbyterian Church.
This year’s event will be a faith celebration prepared by the West African Churches of Burkina Faso.
The theme of the program is based on Luke 10:27 “You shall love the Lord your God and your neighbour as yourself”.
