Whoever Does Not Carry their Cross Cannot be my Disciple

Whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple, Jesus reminds us in today’s Gospel.

We cannot escape suffering in our daily lives, but we can choose to unite our crosses with His, knowing they lead us to the joy of the Resurrection. This Christian hope, proclaimed by the Congregation of the Resurrection, transforms our suffering world one person at a time.
