Funeral of +Fr. Pat Aiello, CR

On Friday June 20th, we celebrated the Mass of Christian Burial to bid farewell to our brother Resurrectionist, Fr. Pat Aiello, CR in his 96^th year of life, his 77^th year of religious life and 70^th year of ordained priesthood.

Fr. Tim Uniac, CR preached at the funeral and shared stories from Fr. Pat’s time as rector of novices at Resurrection College.  Back then, and even to his final months of life, Fr. Pat cared very deeply about his brother religious, and had a talent for helping people discern their vocation in life. Although in his later years the burden of life was growing heavy, Fr. Pat’s faith and hope in the Resurrection sustained him, and always brought a quiet smile to his face. 

May Fr. Pat now experience the eternal joy of the Resurrection.
