The XXXIV General Chapter of the Congregation of the Resurrection passed a number of action resolutions when we met in Rome in July 2023. One called for the rector of the formation house in Morogoro to ask for one Resurrectionist from around the world to visit the seminary for two weeks each year.
An Unexpected, But Welcome, Break
Fr. Evandro and Francesco flew into Dar es Salaam when they arrived, but they were flying back to Rome from Zanzibar. So, that meant that after Fr. Andrzej drove us back to Mwanza, we flew to Zanzibar, where I stayed overnight before continuing my journey back to Dar es Salaam.

It takes about 30-40 minutes to drive between the parish in Butiama and the parish in Buhemba. It seems that word spread quickly that we were returning to the Buhemba parish for a few days. We had a great “informal” greeting at the gate!
