Jesus asks “who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter’s response was Spirit-based, as Jesus attested, “For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you.”

From these readings this weekend, let us open ourselves to God’s power and share more fully in his life, entering into each other’s personal space, and thus bringing life and healing to others. 

There is so much written these days about a healthy diet. For our spiritual health, the food we need is the Eucharist.

Clearly, the crowd was not satisfied simply from the food, but through all the aspects of the communal meal in which Jesus attended to them, gathering, caring, healing, and providing.
