30th Sunday in Ordinary Time – October 29, 2023
Sacrifice, affliction, wrath, power, deliverer, stronghold… love. Our readings this Sunday are full of emotion – emotions of every kind. And yet there is one theme that connects all those violent and chaotic emotions, LOVE.

Who are you living for?
The truth is, all of us – no matter what our vocation is – are called to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind. Priests and consecrated persons don’t necessarily do this better than anyone else.

29th Sunday in Ordinary Time – October 22, 2023
Chapter 22 in Matthew’s gospel highlights the increasing tension between Jesus and the religious authorities of his time. Each group, in turn, raises a question which they hope will “trap” Jesus.

Whose are you?
We belong to the one whose image we bear. Sometimes we can fall into thinking that my vocation, what God is perhaps calling me to, is something other than who I am.

28th Sunday in Ordinary Time – October 15, 2023
In the Gospel, Matthew 22:1-14, Jesus uses a parable, a story about a King’s invitation to his son’s wedding feast, to teach us about God’s invitation to us and His heavenly feast.
